LAWS OF IMPARTATION

Romans 1:11 (KJV)
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
✍️Impartation is the transference of virtue, knowledge, grace, gifts or power from a carrier to a receiver.
It's the sharing of knowledge and virtue of carrier with a reciever. It operates through law of gradient,from a higher realm to a lower realm,some kind of diffusion.Also it operates by principle of communication or contact.
It could be in one of these 3 ways
▶️Contact Impartation
i.e..laying on of hands,
Moses and Joshua
▶️Non-Contact Impartation, e.g ,Moses
and 70 elders
▶️ Object/material e.g Paul's handkerchief, Elisha's staff.
In our anchor texts,we see one of the benefits of Impartation, spiritual establishment orn't stability.Paul knew he carry a grace that the Roman Christians could benefit from.He wasn't the planter of the church,but he had apostolic connection with the assembly.
. .... that ye maybe established.…
So Impartation brings stability.
A young believer left to himself without Impartation via discipleship or communication of doctrinal truth can't be stable.
The Greek word translated Impart is metadidomi meaning to give over,or share
Webster dictionary defines Impartation as giving,conveying or granting from or as it from a store.
So we have a depot,a tank or a store of knowledge and spiritual gifts (pneumatikos charisma).
It takes humility and discernment to recognize a carrier of spiritual gifts and revelation.
GUIDELINES ON IMPARTATION
(1)You can't give what You don't have
(2)You can't have what you can't handle.
When you get saved,God brought you into a local assembly/ church , where you are imparted with the spirit, grace and faith for the kingdom assignment.
Your pastor and believing parents can be means of Impartation of spiritual gifts and revelation to you.
