And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife. And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
Genesis 16:3–4 (KJV)
And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
✍️ Satan attacks the gospel by either removing from it or adding to it. The gospel message remains JESUS ALONE—not Jesus plus charms, not Jesus plus rituals, and not Jesus plus circumcision.
Modus operandi is a Latin phrase meaning “mode of operation.”
The devil still uses the same strategy today: addition or subtraction. It is no surprise that the book of Revelation closes with a solemn warning against adding to or taking away from God's Word.
In our anchor texts, we see this same modus operandi at work.
It is either Egypt sleeps with your wife or you sleep with Egypt's woman.
Either way, Satan seeks to infiltrate both the present and the future.
He first attempted to make Pharaoh, an Egyptian, take Sarah. When God frustrated that plan, he did not give up. He devised another strategy by leading Abraham to sleep with Hagar, an Egyptian.
If he cannot lure you into the world, he will try to bring the world into you. Either way, his goal is to corrupt the seed of promise—the people and purposes of God.
If you refuse to return to the village to participate in idol worship, he whispers, “Just send money to support the festival.”
If you refuse to go to immoral places, he says, “Don't worry. I'll bring immorality to your phone through pornography or to your dreams through temptation.”
The objective remains the same: INFILTRATION
The seed Abraham deposited in Egypt eventually became the lineage of Ishmael, and its consequences have echoed through history.
Women, be careful.
God delivered Sarah from Egypt, but Sarah unknowingly delivered Abraham into Egypt by persuading him to sleep with Hagar.
The rest is history.
To attack the seed of promise, Satan introduces the seed of compromise.

DECLARATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against every demonic operation designed to defile us and our seed. Keep us from Egypt, and keep Egypt from us. Let every strategy of compromise against our lives and destiny fail, in Jesus' name. Amen.
