 THE CONSTANT AND THE VARIABLE.

..As I was with Moses,so will I be with thee: I will not fail thee not forsake thee.

✍️Early years of my development as a minister,there was a time  I lost my identity in mentorship.I mean,I talked and walked like the ones who inspired me ,or trained me. I was a copy cat because I didn't understand much.

In mathematics,there are two kinds of quantity

(1)the constant.. numbers whose value do not change

(2) variables..The value changes.

We can bring this to life application as well.We need to know what's is constant and what's a variable.

In our anchor text,God was overseeing a transition of mantle from a predecessor to a successor.God was now charging Joshua to know the constant and the variables.

The constant here is the promise of God's presence/anointing but the variables are two individuals involved.

God was telling Joshua,MY PRESENCE will be the common thing between two of you but your experiences will differ.

Prayer life,discipline and other stuffs can be copied but the ways of expression and manifestations will be different.Know the constant and know the variables.

You are not Moses,you are Joshua,You are not who trained you,you are not who inspired you.You were trained with  a ROD but I am going to use you  with a SWORD.

People feared the sword more than Rod,and that's why there was no rebellion against Joshua as opposed to eleven rebellions against Moses.

Moses was to speak to Rock and Sea,You Joshua are to speak to Moon and Sun.Moses would take them out of Egypt but Joshua would take them into Canaan.

Please,you are not Gbile Akanni,you are not Pst Chris,You are not your discipler,take the inspiration from them and get your own innovation.

Learn to cultivate and maintain the presence of God like your mentors but find your own way of expression.

That's why my line of teaching is Unique because I took inspiration from my first pastor and teacher in life Pst G.O Olagunju but I don't teach or preach like him.

Don't lose your identity,uniqueness because of followership.

Be who God has ordained you to be.

Don't be a clone of another man,even stars differ in glory,the planetary bodies differ, the sun differs from the moon.

No too ministers are expected to be the same.

You are a variable,just as your leader is also one but God's anointing is the only constant,K in all variations of life.

Here is a twist to it,YOU SHOULD BE A CONSTANT K, to your pastor,your children,your family and friends.Times are season may change,be there for someone come rain , come sunshine

Be reliable,be dependable.

I am committed to discipleship and followership without losing my identity.I shall be who God has created me to be.
